The petitioner applied under section 19 of the Maharashtra Agricultural Lands (Ceiling and Holdings) Act, 1961. In the said application, pending before the Collector, the petitioner had also moved an application to call for records from the Tahsildar. By the impugned order, the Collector has held as under:

"तहसील का቟ኋा ल቟ኋातील अभि लेख ቟ኋापूብኍच ्ቚा्቎ झाले आहेत ्ቚकरण दाखल होऊन चार ብኍኋ᭩ा चा कालाብኍधी हा आहे. अ्ቌ दाराचा ्ቚकरणातील अभि लेख मागविብኍण्቟ኋाचा आदेश विदसून ቟ኋेतो त्቟ኋामुळे अ्ቌ दाराचा अ्ቌ नामं्ቌूर करण्቟ኋात ቟ኋेतो."

The Collector has held that the record from the Tahsil office is received earlier and that more than 4 years have passed having received the record.

I see no irregularity in the order passed by the Collector. The petitioner is permitted to peruse the record from the file received from the office of the Tahsildar and file certified copy of the relevant record in the proceedings pending before the Collector.

The petition is disposed of with the above direction.
