The learned Advocate representing the Zilla Parishad, submits on instructions that, the notice which was issued to the present Petitioner for handing over charge as a Sarpanch, despite her disqualification having been set aside by the learned Single Judge of this Court vide judgment dated 26.08.2024 in Writ Petition No. 9156/2024, has been withdrawn and the cause of action has been put to rest.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that though the Petitioner is satisfied that the impugned notices are recalled, an Application dated 13.11.2023, has been filed by the Petitioner in the light of Government Resolution dated 04.01.2017, which will have to be considered by Respondent No. 4. 3.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off insofar as the cause of action put forth by the Petitioner is concerned. Insofar as the pending Application is concerned, Respondent No. 4 shall deal with the same in terms of the Government Resolution.
