The delay of 2 years and 166 days sought to be explained in view of the legal submissions.

The issue was about the interpretation of the order dated 16.02.2015 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 1869/2003. In the said Writ Petition rule was allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B'.

During the course of hearing, it is brought to our notice that there was no rule granted in the matter even when the Writ Petition was allowed. Apart from this, it is claimed that it is wrong interpretation which led to the Petitioner being denied of the Umesh

That being so, we deem it appropriate to allow the prayer for condonation of delay as sufficient is cause is established. Application is allowed. The delay stands condoned.

Issue notice to Respondents in Review Application, returnable on 11.07.2025.
