The Petitioners are working as part-time Instructors in the respective Schools, for the past, in between eight to ten years. They are apprehending termination for the reason that they are likely to be replaced by new part-time Instructors.

The learned Advocate representing the Zilla Parishad submits on written instructions that some of the Petitioners are working as part-time Instructors and some of them presently are not in employment. The Zilla Parishad is likely to absorb all these Petitioners in the light of the Judgment delivered by this Court at the Principal Seat, dated 08.05.2024 in Writ Petition No.8786/2021 (Gayatri w/o Subhash Mule and Ors. Vs. the State of Maharashtra and Ors.).

In view of the above, since a statement is made that neither would these Petitioners be replaced with adhoc or temporary employees and nor does the Zilla Parishad intend to disengage them since the Zilla Parishad would be absorbing them in service, that this Writ Petition is disposed off.

Needless to state, in the event the Zilla Parishad decides to take any precipitative action or decides to disengage the Petitioners, they shall not do so without issuing them a notice of hearing granting at least fifteen days time. The Petitioners would be at liberty to assail the same.
