The learned counsel submits that caste certificate is issued to the petitioner of 'Wani' Other Backward Class, however, the committee is not accepting the same.

We have heard the learned A. G. P.

Even if, an individual makes a proposal to the committee for verification of his caste claim, the committee is duty bound to accept it and verify the caste claim.

The petitioner wants the validity certificate for prosecuting his further Course.

Considering the above, we pass the following order:

ORDER

I] The petitioner may submit his proposal for verification of his caste claim to the committee in a proper format.

II] The committee shall not refuse to accept the said proposal only on the ground that it is submitted by an individual.

III] The committee shall decide the said proposal expeditiously and preferably within 3 months. 6.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
