The present petition is arising out of election result dated 27.11.2012 declaring petitioner elected from Ward No.2 as member of Village Panchayat, Karkhel (Bk), Taluka Ashti, District Beed. 2.

Respondent Nos.3 and 4 had filed Election Application No.11 of 2012 before Civil Judge Junior Division, Ashti seeking declaration that the petitioner adopted corrupt and illegal practices. As such, his election is vitiated under law. The learned Civil Judge Junior Division allowed election application vide order dated 22.09.2015 thereby setting aside the result of election and declaring respondent nos.3 and 4 as elected from Ward No.2. The term of election which was subject matter of dispute is over. Hence, nothing survives in writ petition.
