PER COURT :- Leave to correct the title of respondent No.2. The petitioner claims to belong to Mannerwarlu, scheduled tribe. He has been appointed as a Peon in the office of respondent No.2 as against a seat earmarked for ST category. The caste certificate issued in favour of the petitioner has been referred for verification to respondent No.4 scrutiny committee and according to the petitioner, the validation claim is pending before the committee and no decision as yet has been rendered in the matter. As a result of failure of the petitioner to tender validation certificate, respondent No.2 employer has issued a notice to the petitioner directing him to produce validation certificate and further informed that in the event of his failure, his services would be terminated.

In the facts and circumstances, this petition can be disposed of with directions to respondent No.4 to take decision on the validation claim of the petitioner pending with the committee, as expeditiously as

{2} wp 9886.15.odt possible and preferably within a period of 8 months from today and it is accordingly directed.

Respondent No.2 is directed not to take any averse action against the petitioner until disposal of the validation claim pending before respondent no.4 committee and subject to decision by the said committee.
