Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed applications U/s 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act in May 2016 (Exh.A) collectively. The same are not yet decided.

We have heard learned A.G.P. for the State and learned counsel for Respondent No.4 3.

In case the applications filed by the petitioners U/s 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act (Exh.A) collectively are pending with the Respondent-authority, the Respondent-authority shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within eight (8) months from the date of appearance of the petitioners and Respondents. The petitioners and Respondents shall appear before the authority on 3.4.2018.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
