It is submitted that, the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee since the year 2013. The vigilance is already conducted, however, as the petitioner is given admission from the reserved category, now the college is demanding full fees from the petitioner.

Considering the fact that, the validation proceeding is pending since the year 2013, we pass following order. 3.

The respondent No. 2/Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months

2 wp 10885.17 from today. The petitioner shall co-operate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 04th December, 2017. The petitioner shall given an undertaking to the institution that if his claim is invalidated, the petitioner shall deposit full fees with the respondent/institution. Till the validation proceeding is decided, the institution shall not force the petitioner to pay the full fees. The respondents shall also not refrain the petitioner from appearing in the examination, in case he is otherwise eligible. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. [SMT.
