The petitioner has challenged the order passed by the Additional Commissioner, Nasik dated 22.8.2023 in Gram Panchayat Appeal No. 50 of 2023.

Mr. Deshmukh, learned counsel for appearing for Mrs. Sangeet informs that the tenure of the respondent No.4, who had contested the election from Gram Panchayat, Mhasve, Taluka Parola, District Jalgaon, has expired as she has completed 5 years on the said post.

Said fact is also confirmed by the counsel for respondents, who appears for Jyoti Sandanshiv - the elected candidate.

In view of the statement made hereinabove, the petition is rendered infructuous as cause of action for filing the petition does not survive.
