At the outset learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner makes oral prayer to correct the serial Number of Respondent No.4. Prayer granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith. 2.
It is the case of the Petitioner that her father was serving as Peon with Mumbai University, who died on 25th September, 1998 while in service. It is further the case of the Petitioner that the Petitioner filed application with Mumbai University for paying all the service benefits accrued to the father of the Petitioner.

It appears that the Respondent authorities i.e. Respondent No.2 - Office of the Principal Accountant General, Respondent No.3 - the Director of Technical Education and Respondent No.4 - University of Mumbai are situate within the territorial jurisdiction of the Principal Seat of this Court at Mumbai. Even the mother of Petitioner i.e. Laxmibai Murlidhar Kharat was residing at Saibaba Nagar, Behind Vijay Nagar, Khar(E), Mumbai-51.

In that view of the matter, the Registry to take immediate steps to transfer this Petition to the Principal Seat at Mumbai.

Liberty to the Petitioner to mention the matter after such transfer.
