The petitioner submits that his father Saheb Mahadu Shinde, now deceased, was given the Corrigendum with regard to Gut No.651 at Mauje Mangrul, Taluka Kallamb, concerning the revenue records, vide communication dated 10th May, 1993. The petitioner is unable to trace out the same and has been approaching the authorities. The petitioner is informed by communication dated 22nd June, 2022 that the duplicate copy cannot be issued to him as the department is unable to trace out the Corrigendum of 1993.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 3.

The office of the District Superintendent of Land Records, Osmanabad shall endeavour to trace out the said Corrigendum. If not,

907 WP.10998.22.odt the shall reconstruct the file and take the assistance of the petitioner, if required. We expect that the file would be traced out / reconstructed, as the case may be, and the copy of the Corrigendum would be issued to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, and on or before 31st March, 2023. In case of any impediment, the department would specifically intimate the petitioner in writing the difficulties faced by it and shall convey the reasons, if they are unable to supply such Corrigendum.
