Mr. Patil, the learned counsel for the petitioner prays for declaration of results of the petitioner of the III and IV year Electrical Engineering course.

Mr. Patil, the learned counsel submits that, the caste claim of the petitioner has been referred to the Scrutiny Committee in November 2014. The same is not yet decided and the university has withheld the result of the petitioner's examination held in April, 2017.

Mr. Patil, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that, the petitioner may appear for hearing before the Scrutiny Committee on 06th September, 2017 and the Committee would decide the claim of the petitioner within one month. 4.

In the light of that, we pass following order. 5.

The petitioner shall appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 06th September, 2017. The Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of one (01) month from today. Depending upon the judgment delivered by the Committee, the respondent No. 3 shall take decision with regard to the declaration of result of the petitioner immediately on receiving judgment of the Committee. The writ petition accordingly is disposed of.
