A grave urgency was voiced by the Petitioner at 10:30 am. Hence the matter was taken up on the production board. 2.
The Petitioner is a student whose claim of belonging to the 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe category is pending validation before the Competent Committee, since 07.03.2024. Vide this Petition, a prayer is made that the validation proceedings should be concluded and the order should be passed within one week. It is obvious that the Petitioner has approached this Court at the eleventh hour. The learned AGP submits that the vigilance cell inquiry has been completed, though the hearing is yet to occur. 3.
The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits on instructions
2 PB-4.WP-10116-2024.odt that the Petitioner is willing to appear before the Committee on 23.09.2024, at 11:30 am. She would tender her written notes of submissions since she has already received the vigilance cell inquiry report. She submits that she would not seek any adjournment on 23.09.2024. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. 5.
The Petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 23.09.2024, as per her request, at 11:30 a.m. Written notes of submissions shall be tendered. No adjournment would be sought. Thereafter, the Committee shall deliver an order, on 10.10.2024. The copy of the judgment of the Committee will be served on the Petitioner through e-mail.
