The dispute raised in the present petition is in respect of inter se seniority between respondent Nos. 3 and 4.

In the absence of any grievance raised by respondent Nos. 3 and 4 for their seniority, the petition cannot be entertained at the behest of the management. Thus a specific query put to the learned counsel for the petitioner Shri Bhavthankar about the locus of the management in the present matter relating to inter se seniority between respondent nos. 3 and 4, more particularly when none of respondent Nos. 3 or 4 is before this Court as petitioner. The counsel for the petitioner management is unable to give any satisfactory reply about its locus in the present matter.

In the said backdrop, the petition is dismissed on the ground that the petitioner management has no locus in the present matter to raise grievance about the inter se seniority between respondent Nos. 3 and 4. No order as to costs.
