Present petition has been filed for the following relief :- "B.

To issue writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in the like nature thereby the respondent no. 2 i.e" Scheduled Tribe Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Kinwat may kindly be directed to decide the Tribe Claim proposal of, the petitioner submitted on 01.09.2018 as expeditiously as possible and within stipulated time period which this Hon'ble Court may please to direct."

Learned AGP waives notice for all the respondents and upon written instructions from the Committee makes a statement [1]

15-wp-10350-2024.odt that the claim of the petitioner would be decided within a period of six months. He is producing the written instructions dated 07.10.2024 by respondent No.2 to him, which is taken on record and marked as Exhibit-'A'.

In fact, it appears that the petitioner had submitted the proposal on 01.09.2018. Under such circumstance, the Committee should decide the claim of the petitioner as early as possible.

Though it is stated that the matter can be decided within six months, yet taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner's father as well as cousin have been granted validity certificate, the matter can be decided early and therefore, we dispose of this writ petition by directing respondent No.2 to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of Four (4) months from today.
