The applicant seeks extension of time to deposit the installment of maintenance amount in pursuance of the order dated 5.1.2023 passed by this Court in Criminal Revision Application No. 149 of 2022. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the applicant has complied with the part of the order and deposited two installments as indicated in the order dated 5.1.2023. She would submit that the last installment has been delayed because of the financial difficulties faced by the applicant. He is ready and willing to deposit last and 3rd installment. A Demand Draft to that effect is ready. It is submitted that the applicant attempted to deposit the said amount with the Family Court, however, he was not permitted to do so, since time to deposit has been expired in terms of the order passed by this court in Criminal Revision No. 149 of 2022 dated 5.1.2023.

Considering the submissions advanced, it would be appropriate to permit the applicant to deposit the last installment of dues as per the order dated 5.1.2023 with further rider that the applicant shall continue to comply the further directions in the said order. 3.
