The petitioners were claiming rental compensation. 3.

By order dated 07.11.2019 in Writ Petition No. 13548 of 2019, we had directed the Special Land Acquisition Officer to consider and decide the petitioners' application for rental compensation. 4.

The affidavit-in-reply along with the order passed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer dated 06.12.2021 shows that the

76-CP-663-2021 -2order has already been passed in favour of the petitioners by the Special Land Acquisition Officer.

The grievance of the petitioners that in spite of this order they have not been paid any rental compensation cannot be considered in this contempt proceeding, inasmuch as there was no direction in the order dated 07.11.2019 to disburse the amount of compensation within any stipulated time. The petitioners will have their own remedies elsewhere in an appropriate proceeding. Nothing survives. 6.

The contempt petition is disposed of.
