DATE : 11.11.2019 P.C. :- The respondents have filed their affidavit. Para 4 of the affidavit reads thus :

"4] I say and submit that a Committee under the Chairmanship of the Additional Secretary (Horticulture) DAC and FW was constituted as per directions of the Hon'ble Agriculture Minister to look into the issues referred to 111 cases of subsidy related by National Horticulture Board ("NHB") based on the recommendation of the Committee, with reference to different reasons of rejection, the Competent Authority has desired to review all the cases rejected under different categories during last 3 years in accordance to the decision of the Committee for various categories. In this communication, dated 28/8/2019, at Sr.No.1, it is stated that cases rejected as the projects were not completed within prescribed time limit of 18 months will be considered, if those were completed within a overall period of 24 months (including grace period of 6 months approved by MC), if otherwise eligible. I,

( 2 ) 134-wp11171-19 therefore, say and submit that the Authority is already looking into the issues and decision in this regard will be taken shortly. Annexed hereto and marked EXHIBIT- 'R-1' is the copy of communication dated 28/8/2019. I, therefore, say and submit that nothing survives in the matter and same may be disposed of in view of the latest communication in this matter. "

2] In light of the statement made that the authority is already looking into the issue and the decision in this regard will be taken shortly, no further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition. Respondents shall complete the process as undertaken in the affidavit expeditiously. 3] Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
