By this petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction for being declared as eligible under the 'Special Cadre Teacher Part - I'. as per Government Resolution dated 18.06.2024. The said Government Resolution lays down the transfer policy for employees of the Zilla Parishad.

The petitioner claims that she is entitled for being included in the said Special Cadre of Teachers, under clause 1.8.14 of the Government Resolution.

The said clause specifies that a person who is son / daughter / grandson / grand-daughter of a freedom fighter, would be

2 WP / 11086 / 2025 categorised as a Special Cadre Teacher, so long as the freedom fighter is alive.

In the present case, it is an admitted position that the freedom fighter was father of the petitioner. He is no longer alive. Therefore, the aforesaid clause 1.8.14 of the Government Reslution, dated 18.06.2024, does not apply in the case of petitioner. 5.

Hence, the declaration sought by the petitioner, in this petition, cannot be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. 6.
