This petition is filed for a limited purpose seeking direction that the caste claim of the petitioner of belonging to TokreKoli Scheduled Tribe is pending with respondent no.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee may be expedited.

It is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the vigilance cell report has already been received by the Caste Scrutiny Committee and it is a matter of hearing. The petitioner undertakes to appear before the Caste Scrutiny Committee on 12.09.2025 for making his oral submissions.

We thus direct respondent no.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date on which the Committee hears the petitioner.
