By way of present petition, the petitioner seeks consideration and decision of application dated 21.09.2021. By that application submitted to the Additional Chief Secretary, the petitioner has prayed for his regular absorption in the services of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation on the post of Medical Superintendent. The claim of the petitioner is premised on his contractual services with the Municipal Corporation and his performance during Covid-19 pandemic. It is the case of the petitioner that the policy of absorbing medical staff engaged during Covid-19 pandemic period has been under consideration with the State Government. 2.

Without going into the merits of the contentions raised

by the petitioner, we direct that the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation to respondent no.2 - Municipal Corporation. In the event, respondent no.2 is of the opinion that there is a need of creation of post for absorption of the petitioner, respondent no.2 may forward proposal to that effect to the State Government. Such proposal, if submitted, may be considered on its own merits. 3.
