Applicant apprehends arrest in Crime No.0645/2023, registered with Ambad Police Station, Jalna, for offence punishable under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. 2.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that charge-sheet in present case is filed on 05/01/2024 and the case is numbered as Special Case No.05/2024. Applicant is granted interim protection by order dated 05/09/2023 and he has cooperated in the investigation.

In view of filing of charge sheet, custodial detention of applicant is not warranted. In the result, application is allowed by confirming interim protection order dated 05/09/2023, on same terms and conditions.
