ORDER :

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and learned A.P.P. appearing for the State.

The learned A.P.P. appearing for the State, on instructions, submits that prayer of the Petitioner for releasing him, is pending with the State Government. The learned A.P.P. further submits that opinion received from the Additional Sessions Judge, Aurangabad is already forwarded to Respondent No.1.

In the light of above, we direct Respondent No.1 to take the appropriate decision, if already not taken, on the pending proposal of the Petitioner, after verifying the record of the Petitioner and actual imprisonment undergone by the Petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, however within EIGHT WEEKS from today, and

communicate the said decision to the Petitioner. 4.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
