Heard learned advocate for the applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who is assisted by learned advocate for the informant. Perused the investigation papers. 2.

The applicant, along with three family members, is involved in commission of offence punishable under section 306, 498A, 323 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, registered with Amalner Police Station at Crime No. 102 of 2022.

Dead body of daughter in law of the applicant, namely Ashwini, was found floating in the well near the house of her in laws. Therefore, her father has lodged FIR in question alleging that since the date of marriage in the year 2019, in laws of Ashwini i.e. her husband-Sambhaji, father in law-Mahadeo, brother in law - Navnath and mother in law - present applicant, were ill-treating her and were pressurizing her to bring Rs.5 lakh from her parents.

Pursuant to the registration of the crime, husband of the deceased, her father in law and brother in law were arrested and they are in custody. The applicant was granted interim protection and was directed to attend concerned police station. The applicant has attended the police station and has co-operated in the investigation.

There are vague and general allegations against the present applicant. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, investigation papers and the facts of the present case, custodial detention of the applicant is not necessary.

In that view of the matter, the application is allowed by confirming the interim order dated 11th October, 2022. Till filing
