The present petition has been filed for following relief: "B.

Rule may kindly be made absolute and by issuing appropriate writ or directions in the like nature, the respondent No.2 be directed to grant approval to the appointment of petitioner w.e.f. 2010 regarding proposals dtd.29/11/2019."

The learned Advocate representing respondent no.2 on instructions makes a statement that the said proposal would be decided within a period of six weeks.

In view of the said statement, the petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to decide the proposal dated 29.11.2019 in respect of approval to the appointment of the petitioner within a period of six weeks on its own merits. The decision so taken be communicated within a period of one week to the petitioner.
