The proposal for verification of tribe certificate of the petitioner is pending with Respondent No.4-Committee and no decision has yet been arrived at.
The petitioner is admitted to MBBS degree course as against a seat reserved for ST category and as a result of failure to submit validity certificate, Respondent No.3 College has refused to accept his examination form and to forward the same to Respondent No.2-University.
{2} wp1094318.odt In these circumstances, writ petition can be disposed of by directing the Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the proposal of the petitioner for verification of tribe certificate, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from today; and it is accordingly directed.
The petitioner shall cause appearance before the Scrutiny Committee on 8th October 2018 and as such, no separate notice, requiring his presence before the Committee, shall be necessary. Respondent No.3 College shall accept the examination form of the petitioner on 1st October, 2018 and shall hand over the same with necessary endorsement to the petitioner so as to facilitate him to tender the same together with late fees to Respondent No.2-University personally. Respondent No.2 shall accept examination form, if tendered upto 03.10.2018. With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
