The petitioner claims that the appeal presented by him to the Deputy Director of Land Records, Aurangabad is pending since the year 2003 and no decision has been rendered in the matter as yet. In this view of the matter, the instant petition can be disposed by issuing directions to the respondent No.1, Deputy Director of Land Records, Aurangabad to take decision on the appeal presented by the petitioner in the year 2003, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today, if the appeal has not yet been decided, and it is accordingly directed. The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
