The applicants are involved in commission of offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 468, 474 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code in Crime No. I-205 of 2022 registered with Kranti Chowk Police Station, Aurangabad. 2.

Applicant No.1 had earlier lodged complaint against the informant, which was registered as Crime No.598 of 2021, with Kranti Chowk Police Station, Aurangabad. The present offence appears to have been lodged so as to give counter blast to the said offence registered at the instance of the present applicant No.1.

All the documents which are necessary for the purposes of investigation are already seized by the Investigating Officer in earlier crime i.e. Crime No. 598 of 2021. The applicants were granted interim protection. They have cooperated in the investigation. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor confirms this fact. No custodial detention or custodial interrogation of the applicants is therefore necessary. 4.

In that view of the mater, the application is allowed in terms of interim order dated 11th October, 2022. Till filing of charge-sheet, applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when called by investigating officer and shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.
