This Court on 3.10.2018 recorded the undertaking that the petitioner would deposit Rs.1 Lakh within two weeks and balance amount recoverable within four weeks. The notice was issued on the basis of the assurance given and respondents were directed not to take coercive action.

None appears for the petitioner. The time granted by this Court for payment has also come to an end.

In light of the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. If the petitioner has any other remedy open, the petitioner may prosecute the same.
