Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that interim compensation at the rate of Rs.10,000/- is exhorbatant and it is beyond the income generated in the business of the petitioners. 3.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the Municipal Corporation submits that petitioners are the encroachers on the street and as such, neither they are entitled to any concession, nor entitled to occupy the street/premises.

Without going into the merits of the rival submissions, I deem it appropriate to direct the District Judge, Shrirampur to decide the pending appeal No. 40/2023 and other connected appeals in the respective writ petitions within six months from today.

The learned counsel for the Municipal Corporation submits that amount of Rs.10,000/- deposited on month to month basis will not be withdrawn by the Municipal Corporation till the disposal of the cases by the learned District Judge.
