Heard learned Advocate for the petitioner and learned AGP for the respondent-State. In view of order passed by this Court in Review Application (Civil) No. 196 of 2024 in WP No. 14387 of 2019, revision is held to be maintainable before learned Registrar General under the Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation) Act. This petition is challenging order passed by respondent No.1 i.e. Registrar General disposing of the revision application.

Looking to the nature of this petition, this Court finds that no notice is required to respondent No.5.

Considering the order passed by this Court in Review Application (Civil) No.196 of 2024, this Court finds that it would be in the interest of justice to restore revision application No. 75 of 2023, which was disposed off by respondent No.1. Hence, following order :-

( 2 ) {wp11370.24} i) The writ petition is allowed.

ii) Revision Application No. 75 of 2023 disposed off by respondent No.1, stands restored to its original position. iii) It is expected of respondent No.1 to dispose off the same as early as possible, preferably before 31.03.2025. iv) The petitioner is at liberty to apply for interim relief to respondent No.4 within four weeks from today. Till then no action be taken on the basis of impugned judgment and order passed by respondent No.1.
