SEPTEMBER 12 2025 ORDER :- Mr.Survase, learned counsel for the applicant submits that First Appeal No.795 of 2023 has been disposed of in the National Lok Adalat, held on 28.09.2024, in view of the settlement arrived at in between the parties. He would further submit that the settlement in between the parties, which is annexed and marked "X" to the said order, mentions at clause no.3, that the amount of settlement would be received by the claimants within six months from the date of the settlement i.e. 28.09.2024. Mr.Surwase further submits that there was little delay in depositing such amount and the office is not accepting the amount, which he seeks to deposit in this court, pursuant to the settlement.

Mr.Paturkar, learned counsel, has no objection for such deposit.

In view of this, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (B). The acquiring body is directed to deposit the settlement amount in the Registry with two weeks from today. Needless to mention, the claimants are allowed to withdraw the said amount in view of the settlement.
