The learned A.G.P. submits that a boys' hostel cannot be allotted at the mere askance, on the basis of an application. The Rules and policies, that govern the grant of Hostel, have to be considered before dealing with any Application. Pending proposal of the Petitioner would be dealt with in accordance with such polices, as are applicable, by 31st March, 2025.

We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion as regards the merits of the Petitioner's claim. 4.

With the above statement recorded, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
