The petitioner is before us complaining about the disobedience of the order of this Court whereby the respondent No.3 - Special Land Acquisition Officer was directed to pass appropriate order on his application preferred under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. 2.

The respondent No.3 in his affidavit-in-reply has expressly stated about having passed the award under Section 28A on 15.02.2023. 3.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that though there is obedience in the sense of passing of the award pursuant to the direction of this Court, so many mistakes have been committed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer in passing the award. 4.

Needless to state that the petitioner will have to resort to the appropriate remedy in respect of the award passed under Section 28A if he is not satisfied. Nothing survives. The contempt petition is disposed of. (ABHAY S. WAGHWASE, J.) (MANGESH S. PATIL, J.) habeeb 1/1
