Initially in the Writ Petition No.304 of 2024 vide order dated 26.03.2024 this Court had directed that respondent No.1 to take appropriate decision on the grievance being made by petitioners on the basis of report of CID and in the light of opinion expressed by learned Advocate General, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of eight weeks from today. Thereafter, respondent No.1 had sought extension of time and by order dated 05.07.2024 that time was extended by eight weeks further. It appears that still the decision has not been taken. Today's communication placed on record, marked as Exh.'A', seeks further extension of two weeks.
