The applicant apprehends his arrest in connection with Crime No. 0394 of 2022 registered with Chikhalthana Police Station, Aurangabad for the offence punishable under sections 420, 468, 469, 471 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

Heard the learned advocate for the applicant and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the investigation papers.

It is clear from the record that the offence pertains to documents, which are already seized by the police authorities. The applicant was given interim protection and was directed to attend the police station and cooperated in the investigation.

917-ABA-1372-22 The applicant's specimen signatures are already obtained by the investigating officer. His custodial interrogation at this stage is therefore not necessary.

In that view of the matter, the application is allowed by confirming the interim order passed by this Court on 11th October, 2022.

Till filing of charge-sheet, applicant shall attend the concerned police station on every Sunday between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence.
