Mr.Deshmukh, learned Counsel submits that validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the respondent - Committee since 2004. The salary of the petitioner has been withheld since August, 2017 on the ground that the validity certificate is not produced.

The learned A.G.P. on instructions submits that the respondent-Committee would decide validation

( 2 ) wp11369.17 proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner within a period of six months.

The respondent-Committee shall decide validation proceeding in respect of tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within six months. Respondent Nos.2 and 3 shall not withhold the salary of the petitioner only on the ground that the validation proceeding is pending. They can take further course of action, depending upon judgment of the validation proceedings.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
