This is an application for direction to the respondents to pay an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- alongwith interest at the rate of 12% p.a. to the applicant.

This prayer is made because a Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 9.7.2019 passed in criminal writ petition No. 414 of 2010 preferred by the petitioner had directed the respondents to pay an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of order, failing which the amount was to carry interest @ 12% till realization of entire amount. The amount was not paid immediately and therefore, this application is preferred. Now the respondents are ready with demand draft dated 15.7.2022 issued in favour of the applicant for the amount of Rs.2,72,000/- which is inclusive of the interest amount. The original demand draft is handed

cran2611.21 -2over to the learned counsel for the applicant by the learned A.P.P. in the court. Copy of the report and the copy of demand draft is produced by learned A.P.P. before the court which is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.

In view of this, learned counsel for the applicant agrees that nothing more survives in this application and hence the application is disposed of.
