PER COURT :- 1) It is informed that recovery of toll collection has been stopped and in view thereof, companion writ petition No.2498/2009 has been disposed of by order dated 10.11.2014.

2) In the instant petition, the challenge, seeking prohibitory order against the contractor in respect of collection of toll, does not deserve consideration in view of the fact that the toll collection by the contractor has already been stopped.

3) Keeping the option of the petitioner to avail of remedies, as permissible under law, open for redressal of his other grievances, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
