The legal representatives of respondent no.1 in First Appeal (Stamp) No.19534/2023 have filed the present application for bringing their names on record as legal representatives. Since deceased Govind Eknath Surwase is respondent no.1, his legal representatives need not move application for bringing their names as legal representatives of deceased respondent no.1. It is for the appellant to move such application.

Deceased Govind Eknath Surwase has expired on 23th January, 2022 i.e. prior to filing of the present appeal. In that view of the matter, the present application is rejected. However, it is clarified that subject to condition that, if the present applicants satisfy the learned Registrar (Judicial) that they are legal heirs of deceased Govind Eknath Surwase, they may be permitted to withdraw the amount of compensation
deposited by the appellant with this Court along with accrued interest.

Liberty is granted to the appellant to take appropriate steps in view of the demise of respondent no.1 - Govind Eknath Surwase.
