The facts of the case have been discussed in detail in an order dated 13.09.2022.

Considering the allegations levelled against the applicants and the role attributed to them, interim protection was granted. The investigation papers produced today do not reveal that the applicants have played such a role that their custodial interrogation is essential. Therefore, the application deserves to be allowed. Hence, the following order :

O R D E R

(i) The application is allowed.

(ii) The interim protection granted to the applicants by the order dated 13.09.2022 stands confirmed on the same terms and conditions with an additional condition to attend the Police Station as and when called by the Investigating Officer on written notice.
