After this matter was heard for quite some time and in view of the orders passed by the learned Division Bench of this Court in Criminal Writ Petition No. 939 of 2013 dated 17-03-2013, the petitioner on instructions seeks liberty to withdraw this petition so as to avail of an alternate remedy under the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act.

In view of the statement made on instructions, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to avail of an alternate remedy, if available in law.
