The present application is filed for quashing of complaint bearing Crime No. I-118 of 2015 registered with Begumpura police station for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 341, 323, 504 r.w. 34 of I.P.C. The respondent-complainant and the present applicant have filed affidavits stating that they have settled the matter and the present respondent No.2 does not have any objection for quashing the complaint. The applicant and the original complainant are present in Court and they are identified by their respective advocates.

We have gone through the injury certificate. The injury certificate depicts the injuries caused are simple injuries.

cran5371.15 -2Considering the complaint and the injuries sustained, there is remote possibility of conviction under Section 307 of I.P.C. 3.

In the light of above, we accept the settlement. The Crime bearing No. I-118 of 2015 registered with Begumpura police station for the offences punishable under sections 307, 341, 323, 504 r.w. 34 of I.P.C. is quashed and set aside.

Criminal application is disposed of.
