Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are claiming a share in the compensation determined by the competent authority under the National Highways Act. He submits that the competent authority, in view of the dispute has written to the respondent No.3 who is the Deputy Superintendent of Land Records, Aurangabad, by communication dated 13.11.2019, 23.11.2020 and 22.12.2020 requesting for certain inquiry and a report. Still the respondent No.3 has not responded.

The learned advocate for the respondent No.2 submits that they are waiting for the report by the respondent No.3 pursuant to the request made by the competent authority.

The learned AGP submits that the respondent No.3 will have to respond to this communication.

The prayer is innocuous.
