Learned counsel submits that the juniors are considered for promotion and the petitioner is not considered. It appears that the departmental promotion committee has negatived the claim of the petitioner for promotion and list has been given of the persons who are eligible for promotion and directions are issued to take bond from them and to issue orders. In that even, remedy of appeal is available under Rule 14 (1)((b) of the Maharashtra Zilla Priashad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 1964. The petitioner may avail said remedy. All contentions of the parties are kept open. 2.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
