In both these matters, the applicants/petitioners desire to amend the petition in terms of the proposed amendment in view of subsequent events. Since the employer itself has passed certain orders during the pendency of the petition, the applicants have no option, but to amend the petition.

Mr.Gunale, the learned Advocate for the employer strenuously opposes these applications.

In view of the above and for the reasons assigned, the applications are allowed. Let the amendment be carried out on or before 04.02.2023 and the freshly typed copies of the petitions be tendered simultaneously.

The employer is at liberty to enter an additional affidavit in reply in the light of the amended petition, on or before 18.02.2023. 5.
List the petitions in the Due Admissions Category 2 (two) weeks thereafter.
