Appellant - Acquiring Body seeks permission to deposit the difference of interest amount pursuant to the order dated 13.09.2024 passed in Civil Application No. 7229 of 2024 in First Appeal No. 2441 of 2023.

For the reasons stated in the application, civil application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b).

Learned advocate for the respondents-claimants submits that the appellant is required to deposit a sum of Rs. 8,00,00,000/- towards 70% of the award amount. The quantum of the said amount is disputed by the claimants.
