The petitioners' grievance is about unpaid salary according to prescribed scale.

After hearing both the sides, it is clear that the parties are unanimous that the matter would legitimately lie before a grievance committee under Section 79 sub-section 6 of the

wp-11491.17 Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016. It was pointed out that in a similar matter this Court had directed the Director of Education to undertake a scrutiny as to the allegations regarding unpaid salary. Keeping open all the grievances to be put up before the grievance committee, which is a statutory remedy, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

The grievance committee shall take decision within four months of filing of the petition by the petitioners. 4.
