Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal has been submitted by the Headmaster of the School on 05.10.2012 (page 22) seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as Assistant Teacher. Thereafter, reminders have also been given but the proposal is not yet decided. Mr. Tandale, the learned Counsel for the Education Officer submits that in case the proposal is pending, then the Education Officer would decide the same on its own merits.

We have herd the learned AGP also.

In case the proposal filed by the Headmaster of the respondent School seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner (page 22) is pending, 1/2

27.odt then the Education Officer shall decide the said proposal on its on merits, in accordance with the Rules and Policy, expeditiously preferably within a period of four months.

The petitioner and the Institution are entitled to place the documents on which they place reliance before the Education Officer.

5.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
